Walking Directions from Station to Manchester Meeting Place (formerly Staff House)

The conference venue is a 5-10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station.  Make sure that you take the Fairfield Street exit (where the taxi stand is located).  Cross Fairfield Street and turn right on Granby Row, where the Bulls Head Pub is on the corner.

Above is a view from Granby Row looking back at the station, where you should have just come from. Walk on Granby Row until you see a little park on your left.  

You will notice a red brick bridge, under it there is a statue.  Walk towards the statue.

You know it is the correct statue because this is what he looks like from the front.  The statue is looking at Manchester Meeting Place, where the ARLIS conference is being held.  Follow the signs down the stairs.

Delegate Parking

Please use post code M1 3BB to locate the multi-storey car park near the junction of Charles Street and Sackville Street.  Current rates for this car park are:

Up to 3 hours £3

Up to 6 hours £5

Up to 10 hours £8

Up to 24 hours £10

After 4pm and weekends £2

Drivers using this car park should collect a ticket on entry and pay at one of the machines prior to collecting their vehicle at the end of the day
